In Redditch, Worcestershire, we do have in-stock clothing for both 3- and 4-legged dogs, but we can also make custom clothing if you require it. 

Custom dog clothing depends a lot on the type of clothing that is requested: a recovery shirt might be made the same day, but a hand-knitted jumper will take 3-4 days to knit. Dog shirts cost from £24 upwards, and jumpers are from £38 upwards. Dog coats start from £60 upwards. Some price ideas can also be found on Etsy. All prices will be discussed before ordering a custom item. We send photos of the finished dog clothing, and once you have approved them, I will make a listing reserved for you.

Every garment is specially adapted for amputee dogs and post-surgery recovery. We tailor shirts and fleece jumpers without awkward extra leg holes, using ultra-soft seams to eliminate rubbing on delicate scar tissue and specialized elasticated hems so your pet will not trip while walking.

Can I order for a dog missing a front leg or a hind leg?

Yes, absolutely. We tailor each piece to your dog's specific amputation—whether front left, front right, rear left, rear right, or double amputations. Simply specify which leg is missing when you place your order.

How do I take measurements for a custom order?

We ask for basic measurements including back length, chest girth, and neck circumference. Check our dedicated size guide page for step-by-step instructions and diagrams before submitting your order details.

Do you make clothing for four-legged dogs as well?

Yes, we design comfortable, warm fleece sweaters and coats for four-legged dogs too. Everything is handcrafted in Redditch with the same high standards of comfort, soft seams, and premium materials.

How do I wash and care for the fleece jumpers?

Our handmade fleeces and recovery shirts are machine washable on a gentle 30°C cycle. We recommend air drying to keep the elastic hems supple and ensure a long-lasting, cozy fit.

Do tripawd dogs need coats in winter?

Many 3-legged dogs feel the cold more after amputation. A warm fleece or coat made for a 3-legged shape helps them stay comfortable on walks

Can my dog wear a recovery shirt instead of a cone after surgery?

Some owners use a soft recovery shirt to cover the wound area. Also, some vets have dressed the dog in one straight after surgery. Ask your vet what is right for your dog, then choose a cotton shirt made for a front-leg or rear-leg amputation

What is the best clothing for a dog with a front-leg amputation?

Look for a gentle fit with no tight seams over the missing leg area.

How do I order custom measurements?

Use our size guide to send chest, back, and neck measurements. If long sleeves or a turtleneck are needed, these measurements would also be useful to make the clothing fit. We make each piece to those measurements in our Redditch studio Custom Orders
